Campus Cleanup
WHAT:
Campus Cleanup is a student-focused program that helps school organizations actively support the Don’t mess with Texas effort by encouraging them to keep their campuses and communities clean and litter-free. The Campus Cleanup program is available to any student or teacher in Texas interested in coordinating a cleanup event.
We encourage student groups to create an event that is fun and memorable. Ideas for events include group cleanups, competitions, scavenger hunts, and contests.
Research shows that Texans ages 16-34 are still the most likely to litter. Help change the way your peers think about litter by getting out there and doing something about it.
WHEN:
Check back for 2018 Campus Cleanup events. You may schedule a separate cleanup anytime throughout the year by filling out the form below.
HOW:
It’s easy! The Don’t mess with Texas Campus Cleanup Toolkit is a great resource to help you organize and carry out the event. It includes planning materials, promotional elements, and creative templates for easy event planning. Get started today:
- Download posters to build awareness and encourage event participation on your college or high school campus.
- Register your event online.
- After your event, fill out the online event reporting form and send any photos to [email protected]. Be sure to include your name, school, and event location with your photos submitted.
All campuses that hold an event and complete the online event reporting form will be recognized on DontMessWithTexas.org. Your event may be featured on our website, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
