The Texas born and Texas proud Adopt-a-Highway program has grown from a two-mile stretch in Tyler to an internationally recognized model for roadway litter prevention.

The hard work and dedication of 3,800 volunteer groups saves the state $3+ million a year in litter pickup. Special thanks go to the 147 groups who have gone the extra two miles to keep Texas beautiful for 20 years or more.
